We were ecstatic when Raising Hope approached us with this task to develop the identity of their new organization. After hearing their vision, we considered the naming of the brand and how to create a symbol that would reflect their organization.

Design ideation and concepts
Beginning with the typeface, womanhood and the idea of moving forward served as the basis our design.
J2C Symbol
The symbol had to be striking, whimsical and colorful. These design intents can be seen in the slight roundness at the tip of each character, the slight skew of the characters, the encasing box and the bold colors that represent each division.

Design iteration
The “2” had to be implemented in the final design of the symbol as a way of shortening the name. Raising Hope was ecstatic about this design concept. This is the power of naming and branding when creating a symbol that reflects an organization's vision.
